With no prior background in sewing or embroidery, Hanan Bakri started working at Ajialouna eight years ago and slowly picked up the skill on prayer clothes. When she was younger, she tried to get into the field of accounting but had to stop her education due to personal circumstances. Hanan deeply regrets having to make that decision since it was her ultimate passion as a child. At 50 years old and living alone with no dependents, she appreciates a friendly and co-operative work environment where all the women can work as a team and help each other when needed. Although Hanan is thankful for what she currently has, her aspiration is to own a business all for herself and eventually achieve a more stable life.
